If you have a domain name at Godaddy and you wish to push it to another user at GoDaddy, the process is quite simple. There are just a few steps you need to follow in order to make the transfer smooth and successful.
1. Sign-in to your GoDaddy Account
Just sign into your Godaddy account. If you don’t already have one, you can register for a new account but you won’t have any domain names to push at this point.
2. Scroll down to your “Domains” under “All your products and services”
If you have several domains, click on “manage all domains” to make your list more readable. You will see a full list of your domains.
3. Select the domain you want to push
Just click on the domain name that you want to push to another GoDaddy account.
4. Under “Additional Settings” choose “Transfer Domain to Another GoDaddy Account”
Scroll down on the page and select “transfer domain to another GoDaddy account.” If you are transferring to anther registrar, there are additional options to choose.
5. Enter the recipients email address
Next you will enter the recipients email address and confirm it a second time. This must be the email address tied to the recipients GoDaddy account. You have the option entering their account number as well but it is not required. If you want to be sure your whois contact information does not transfer with the name, check “No” in the radio button at the bottom of the page.
6. Click “Transfer Domain”
Finally, click on the “Transfer Domain” button to complete the process. You will receive an email at your address that is tied to your GoDaddy account asking you to confirm that the change is legit. Click the link within the email to make it official. Congratulations, you have just pushed a Godaddy domain name to another account on GpDaddy!
