In this weeks list of keyword domains, it nice to see a mix of big and small businesses. On the one hand, Career Builder seems to have someone with some domain smarts on staff. I have a feeling the names I have listed are probably just a few in their list of redirects. On the other hand it’s great to see some of the little guys in possession of some premium names. The pancake house referenced below seems like a small town, honest to goodness pancake house and not a super chain like IHOP.
- PumpkinPatch.com loads nightviewproductions.com (Halloween Store)
- Harmonicas.com to Sheetmusicplus.com
- Headhunter.com, net and org as well as Headhunters.net to CareerBuilder.com
- LeatherBelts.com is the site for Sole Survivor Leather belts
- Suspenders.com is the site for Hold Up Suspender Comapny.
- CarBatteries.com forwards to MonbatUK.com, UK supplier of car batteries
- Pancakes.com is the site for PJs Pancake House
- ChefMat.com goes to GelPro.com
- Steel.com points to TorontoSteel.com

What are your thoughts about very specific keywords that are 4 words (that would be very “type in” likely)?
@Ken, Without knowing the term, I’d suggest looking it up on the Google Keyword Tool and see how many exact searches it gets to get a good feel for how popular the term is.
Sulli, found the Keyword tool. My generic domain with the highest results is: Male Birth Control Pills (which is what the .com “is”) and it states 2,400 Monthly searches and 1900 Local Monthly searches. I still don’t know if that makes it so-so or fabulous or ?
Ken, I took a look at the keyword tool for your term. One thing you need to make sure you do is check the “exact” check box located in the left hand column, toward the bottom of the page. The tool defaults to “broad,” which is not what you want to look at.
The exact match count is only 170. This alone doesn’t mean the domain has no value, but you would certainly be focusing on a specific niche.
