Fast Transfer

Fast Transfer is Afternic's answer to the slowest part of a domain sale, which is getting the name from the seller's account into the buyer's. When a domain is opted in and sitting at a participating registrar, a buyer can purchase it through GoDaddy, Namecheap, Dynadot or any other network partner and have it in their account before they've finished the coffee.

The seller doesn't have to do anything. Afternic's connection to the registrar handles the move, and the seller's payout follows on the normal schedule.

For sellers, opting in is mostly upside. Buyers on partner registrars see the domain right in the registration search, and impulse purchases close. The tradeoff is that the price has to be firm, since the sale completes without a conversation.
