Atom

Atom is what Squadhelp became in 2024. It started as a naming contest platform where businesses paid a crowd to invent brand names, and it grew a domain marketplace alongside it that's now the main event.

The pitch is curation. Atom accepts a fraction of the names submitted, pairs each listing with a logo and a short description, and markets to startups that want a brandable name and don't want to wade through a million listings. Prices skew higher than the big open marketplaces and so do the commissions, which vary by listing type.

If you own invented-word or short brandable names, it's worth a submission. If you own keyword .coms and numerics, it isn't the venue.
