Great interview Mike! Gary has it going on and is definitely the goto guy when it comes to the social web. I am looking forward to reading his new book, “The Thank You Economy” and hope it has as much meat in it as his previous tome , “Crush it!” Now that he has identified the thank you economy as a trend, i am wondering what will be the tools (picks and shovels) we need to leverage his message?

I’ve done some engaging with people on Twitter a while back, even talked to you a few times Gary about domains. It’s a mine field. Fortunately for you people don’t really hate on wine guys but they sure do hate on domainers. Any advice there Gary ?

strong interview… you can sense the subject matter expertise when someone free forms it like that with stream of consciousness answers and it just makes great sense… some good takeaways for me on the social media side…

Love the interview. That guy has tons of energy and must work 24/7, because he pops up with interviews on blogs / TV / mainstream press all the time.
People don’t want you sending them coupons? … Actually, he’s wrong. A recent study showed that’s exactly what they want.
People have friends to be their friends. They don’t need their mechanic or their lawyer or their web host to be their friends.
